A novel alternative to indwelling urinary catheters in cats

Our 3 Fr polyurethane jugular catheters can be used as an alternative to silicone versions for indwelling use.  The catheter is supplied with a guide wire which makes placement simple and offers a number of advantages over other catheters:

• Choice of length to suit (10, 13 or 20 cm)
• Guide wire for easy placement
• Standard female luer lock fitting for secure attachment

A number of people have found the suture hub on the catheter to be very useful in helping secure the catheter to the cat’s tail
