Using our Giving Sets on Infusion Pumps

| 1. Prime giving set as usual. Iolate the chamber tube section (with roller valve and C-clamp fitted) |

2. Take (a) the roller valve and (b) the C-clamp in either hand. Separate these as far as possible.
|
|
| 3. Place pump on the tube section between your hands. Do NOT use other tube sections in the pump. |
|
| If you try to use the mid-section of tubing (between injection ports) you will get inaccurate results or the pump will not function properly. This is especially important on the Niki IV as this pump does not assess tubing in the pump mechanism. |
