Our range of transfusion lines provide you with a set for every situation and give excellent accuracy with compatible infusion pumps. They feature standard drip chambers with miniaturised filters, giving maximum gravity transfusion pressure and a minimum of bulk. Our range features a unique light-weight, low-volume narrow-bore set designed specifically for feline transfusions. It has a 'T' injection port which gives a priming volume of just 1.6ml. This set can also be used as a light-weight infusion line for normal fluids. We advise use of a mini-bore end extension for optimal injection priming volume in small patients. Whilst most sets are one-piece, we manufacture a luer connected set (T20N200L) that allows use on syringe drivers as the chamber is in-line and works as an in-line filtered transfusion set. This set can also be used for access to blood bags via the luer-connected bag spike. All sets are compatible with the Optima VS, Niki IV and VetPro pumps for superior accuracy. Our Baxter Pump extension (EPUMP-BX) makes our luer-connected sets fully compatible with Baxter FloGard 6200-type pumps. |
