Designed to fit into our Fulmac modular equine Y-spiral infusion set (IEQYPUR2), this extension allows very rapid delivery of fluids via a twin-spike set. 

When used on the Fulmac Y-spiral line, the set has a total length of 370 cm. This makes it ideal for pre/peri-operative fluid therapy.  You can then change the extension back to the spiral section for routine maintenance fluids prior to recovery.

The design of this line and extension retains the drip chamber at all times. This gives you the benefit of allowing easy calculation of flow when rates are reduced , which ever way you use them.

Due to the bore size (8mm), the extension needs to be primed in reverse direction to ensure all air is removed from the line.
