Wide-Bore 4-way stopcocks |
Most applications we previously used 3-way taps for are better suited to and more safely managed by needle-free valves. For situations where stopcocks are still preferred, we offer a wide-bore option with a choice of “ON” or “OFF” handle configurations.
The bore diameter on a wide-bore tap is 50% wider than normal and provides significantly reduced aspiration resistance and injection effort over standard taps, especially for repeated procedures. The handle configurations clearly show the fluid paths, and they are colour coded for easy recognition. |
