Needle-Free Injection Spike |
A vented spike to allow repeated access to bags and bottles. This spike is also ideal for use on blood collection bags when collecting small feline blood volumes in syringes, and allows the bag to be used to administer the transfusion via a blood-giving set as well as an infusion pump.
The following features help maintain a closed environment:
Needle-free valve for direct syringe activation |
Valve is swabable, so capping is not required |
Spike is vented so it can be used on glass bottles or semi-collapsible containers |
Vent is filtered so only filtered air enters the container, reducing potential contamination |
