Our Mission
Infusion Concepts is a small innovative company determined to bring the best infusion, drainage and critical care products to the veterinary profession.
Because we are small, we are able to adapt rapidly to customer needs and work very hard to meet these needs in a professional and efficient manner.
Why Bother?
Our interest in infusion delivery developed over a number of years as we found infusion sets never really delivered what we need. We, as a profession, should really have a range of consumables better than the human market offer.
In real terms: "if a product doesn't work as intended to, your patient isn't treated as you wanted..."
When did it all start?
Mark's initial product development started in 1997 and saw the launch of the first veterinary kink-proof, luer-connected paediatric set in 1999. To further the product range as he believed it should be developed, Mark founded Infusion Concepts in 2002 and launched the initial product range at BSAVA 2003.
What is our clinical background?
Mark has spent 20 years in small animal practice. He has worked across a wide range of practice standards from small general practice clinics to large multi-disciplinary centres and also dedicated emergency practice. He uses this depth of clinical experience and understanding
to direct product development along the lines of what we need in both general practice and intensive & critical care.
Importantly, because he has faced the same problems you encounter, he places a strong emphasis on clinical and technical support on all products in our range.
How has the product range changed?
We launched our initial infusion range in April 2003 with just 20 products. Our focus at that time was purely infusion therapy.
Over time we have received many requests for specific drainage and critical care products, including the major step forward in producing the first needle-free chest drain sets for the veterinary market.
By December 2007 the range had expanded to over 200 products. Much of this has been as a result of customer requests and our continued work within the veterinary profession.
As with all products, improvements are always able to be made. We reserve the right to alter the specification of our products without prior notification when such a change improves the function, safety or economy of that product. |
